Auto Gleam Terms of Service

1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all vehicle detailing and related services (“Services”) provided by Auto Gleam Details LLC (“Auto Gleam,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”).
By booking, confirming, or receiving any Services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Mobile Service and Access Requirements
Auto Gleam is a mobile detailing service that performs Services at the customer’s designated location.
You must provide a complete and accurate address, including any necessary access instructions (e.g., gate codes, parking directions).
If our technician arrives and:
The address is incorrect or inaccessible,
The customer is not present or fails to provide vehicle access, or
The customer does not respond within 15 minutes of arrival,
Auto Gleam reserves the right to treat the appointment as a no-show and may charge up to 50% of the scheduled service fee to cover travel and lost time.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that detailing can be safely and legally performed at the chosen location (e.g., no HOA or property restrictions).
3. Scheduling and Confirmation
Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or through Auto Gleam’s approved scheduling systems.
Auto Gleam will call or text before each appointment to confirm date, time, and location details.
Failure to confirm or respond to pre-appointment communications may result in automatic cancellation.
4. Pricing and Adjustments
All prices listed on our website or promotional materials are starting prices only and are subject to change based on:
Vehicle size and condition,
Level of dirt, pet hair, stains, or contamination,
Service location and access conditions.
Final pricing will be confirmed upon vehicle inspection before service begins.
Auto Gleam reserves the right to adjust its base pricing by up to 5% annually to maintain premium service quality.
5. Payment Terms
Full payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Auto Gleam accepts cash, debit/credit cards, and approved electronic payment methods.
A deposit may be required for large or specialty appointments.
Failure to make full payment on the day of service may result in a late fee or suspension of future bookings.
6. Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or no-shows (including when the customer is unreachable or the vehicle is unavailable) may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service total.
Auto Gleam reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, safety, or operational concerns without penalty.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Remove all personal items and valuables from the vehicle prior to service. Auto Gleam is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
Vehicle must be in a safe condition for service (no hazardous materials, infestations, or mechanical leaks). Additional fees may apply if conditions exceed normal cleaning standards.
Customer must ensure access to electricity and water if required for the selected service package, unless otherwise specified.
8. Text Messaging and Communication Consent
By booking or providing your contact information, you consent to receive text messages, calls, or emails from Auto Gleam for:
Appointment confirmations, rescheduling, and follow-ups,
Service quality checks or feedback requests, and
Occasional promotional offers or service reminders.
You may opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Auto Gleam’s total liability for any loss, damage, or claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
Auto Gleam is not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, or defects that become visible during or after cleaning.
Auto Gleam is not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, diminished value, or inconvenience.
Services are provided “as-is” without warranties beyond those required by law.
10. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must notify Auto Gleam within 24 hours of completion. We will make reasonable efforts to inspect and address your concern promptly. After 24 hours, all results are deemed accepted.
11. Force Majeure
Auto Gleam is not liable for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including weather, acts of God, traffic accidents, or equipment failure.
12. Privacy and Data Use
Customer data is used solely for communication, billing, and service operations. Auto Gleam does not sell or share customer data except as required by law or necessary to complete a transaction.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where Auto Gleam Details LLC operates. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in that jurisdiction’s courts.
14. Updates
Auto Gleam may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and apply to all future services.
Customer Acknowledgment
By scheduling or receiving service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service, including consent to receive text communications.
